Busy P & So Me Present "Busy Pictionary" @ Parklife 2010

Ed Banger Records head honcho Busy P has teamed with the in house graphic designer and illustrator So Me to produce the "Busy Pictionary" exclusively for Parklife 2010. According to a few reports So Me will be pumping out live drawings and poking fun whilst Busy P will be DJing.

Heres an extract about "Busy Pictionary" from an interview with inthemix.com.au

“We’re calling it the Busy Pictionary show and this is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time,” Busy P said of the planned sets. “I will bring So-Me on stage with me and we will plug in his computer while I’m DJing so he can react live to the music I play and what the crowd do. He’ll be drawing, photographing and doing some more stuff that I can’t tell you about now and translating that feeling and the energy onto the screen.”

As cool as that sounds, Busy P stresses that despite the live element, he’s not pretending to have a ‘live’ transformation like his frenemies The Bloody Beetroots.

“People shouldn’t think ‘oh, Busy P is playing live’,” he laughs. “I’m not bringing out a Busy P pyramid or anything like that, it’s still me DJing, but now it will have So-Me with his digital screen having fun with the crowd and probably making fun of me a lot. I really just want to interact with the crowd and do something completely different in each city. It will be fun.”

Making the ‘live-but-not-live’ shows even more special, the Ed Banger boss told inthemix that Australian crowds will likely be the only ones to see the hybrid show.

“This idea was something I thought of last time I was in Australia because the crowds are always so much fun and they react to everything that you do, so I don’t think we will ever do it in Paris or in Europe.”

They have even created a little jingle to go along with the show.
